SETTLEMENT OED

„Pünktchen and Anton“ is a building couple varying in size and form. „Pünktchen“ is a square shaped three storey point house, while „Anton“ is a longish two storey building volume. These two basic types completely unchanged are slightly rotated positioned on the site, thus they are integrated harmoniously in the structure of their surroundings. Through narrown spaces and open ones, with small alleyways and wide squares, a village-like character arises. The building are defined by simple volumes.

By transforming the traditional iconography, especially the roof shape, new but traditional geometries emerge. The high grade of individuality gives the estate a unique identity and character. The new ensemble creates a village within a village, not in the sense of a containment, but as a structural extension and completion.
