The concept of this loft conversion was developed out of the existing patio. Three small sleeping areas for children have large double sliding doors and can be combined with the adjacent play area to form a spacious common room. This room also connects with the living room opposite, when the glass doors of the patio are opened.

Linking the private and public areas is the kitchen island. The living space is defined by space-structuring walls with shelves. Despite their room-divider function they pull the entire flat together.
