HOUSE NEUSIEDL A.D. ZAYA
Weekend house on the outskirts of Vienna. A wooden CLT panel construction method was used to build a house on top of an existing wine cellar. The walls and ceiling show the wooden panels as they are, creating a house that feels the warmth of wood.
The triangle floorplan created interesting geometry of the roof, which brought unique spatial effects both in appearance and interior. A black box with a kitchen and a bathroom is placed in the middle of a large space to add an accent in the interior space.
