JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL ALLAND

The two-storey building is compact and has a calm appearance to the outside, which is also due to the modular timber hybrid construction. The design concept provides for the orientation of the classrooms to the outside, while the open learning zones are oriented to the inside; the inner courtyard or break yard on two levels is enlivened as a communication zone. The interweaving of interior and exterior space creates interesting spatial qualities that support new teaching methods.
The façades are interrupted with small green incisions to structure the length of the building. The modular construction method can be easily seen in the façade design.
